Coiled on the slope South of the hillside and deeply rooted in the Pyrenean puddingstone rollers, the vineyards of Château de Cuqueron enjoys an exceptional terroir that sublime Petit Manseng – grape King of Jurançon.
All agree here to soften the nature: the black rollers that make the night their heat of the day and drain the superfluous moisture, the hot breath of the foehn – warm wind from the South – who descends from our Pyrenees and just caress the grape until late in the season to very gently cause the raisining or the concentration of sugars and flavourings with natural evaporation on foot.
